Bruce, a 29-year-old computer scientist with a fervent dedication to environmental conservation, is on a mission to merge technology and nature for the betterment of our planet. Bruce’s journey towards becoming an advocate for ecosystem restoration began with a fascination for both computers and the natural world at an early age. Bruce academic journey led him to excel in the field of computer science. After completing High school, he pursued a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science at Maseno University, Kenya, where he graduated in 2017. He currently undertakes Masters of Science in Computer Science. Beyond his professional endeavours, Bruce is a tireless advocate for the healthy environment. He has managed through Grassroots Transforming Network (GTN) organized community cleanups, participated in hackathons focused on climate change solutions, and mentored aspiring young tech enthusiasts interested in the intersection of technology and environmental science. Bruce desires to get involved in Ecosystem Restoration stems from his unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the environment. Bruce believes he can contribute his technical skills, data-driven insights, and unwavering dedication to the cause of ecosystem restoration in Kenya and beyond. He is excited to collaborate with like-minded individuals and experts to develop innovative solutions and drive positive change for our planet through the honour to serve the Ecosystem Restoration Alliance of Kenya (KERA).
