NELSON OTIENO OKEYO is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with wide practice, fellowship and consulting experience on NGO law, rule of law and governance, constitutional law, legal compliance and governance audits and data protection law. His purpose is advising start-ups and established companies and government bodies in Kenya and across the world on navigating legal issues on his areas of practice. Besides his stellar practice record, Nelson is also a distinguished scholar and is currently undertaking his doctoral research in the field of business and human rights at Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nürnberg where he is also the Board member and instructor of the Human Rights and Business Clinic. He is also pursuing a PhD in data protection law at the University of Bayreuth, Germany where he also conducts graduate research at the Chair of African Legal Studies.
