Polycarp is a motivated, self–directed and NEMA registered environmental expert with over 5 years experience on Environmental Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), Livelihood Restoration Plan (LRP), Resettlement Action Plan(RAP), Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP), Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF), Resettlement Policy Framework (RPF), Environmental audits, Vulnerable and Marginalised Group Plan (VMGP), Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP), Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Environmental measurements i.e. Ambient air quality, Stack emission monitoring, Noise and vibrations and Industrial Hygiene amongst others. Based on the various projects he has undertaken, he is well versed with the World Bank, IFC, European Union, AfDB and other donor funded environmental and social safeguards. His background in generating innovative ideas and strategies to improve processes has provided me with a deeper understanding of multifaceted problems that companies encounter in their daily operations. Polycarp holds Masters of Arts in Environmental Law. He serves as the Principal National Manager at KERA representing the Secretariat to the Board.
