Information and Data Management Officer

Ruth is a highly motivated and result-driven library and record management specialist with extensive experience in data collection, data processing, data analysis, and data presentation. Ruth's specialization also includes library management and record management with proven competencies in shelving, digitization, cataloguing and classification, and information literacy training among other key practices in the Information Center Management ( ICM) sector.

She is a passionate, dedicated and professionally trained mentor and peer counselor and have served in an active position of Project Lead in an organization focusing solely on girl child empowerment and childhood development. Ruth is a hands-on practitioner with practical experience in designing and executing mentorship and leadership lifeskill sessions, offering basic counseling and guidance to young people, designing training manuals and related programme action and strategic plans, undertaking programme financial management, and leading programme's monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning (MERL) initiatives.

She highly embrace privacy and confidentiality, honesty and integrity, team collaboration and real results. Ruth holds Bachelor of Library and Information Science from Kenyatta University. She currently volunteers with KERA as the Information and Data Management Officer.
